CG Motocorp has started deliveries of the all-new Suzuki e-Vitara in Nepal, marking its entry as the company’s first  battery electric vehicle in the Nepali market.

The model is being offered under an introductory pricing scheme valid for the first 100 bookings for a limited period. During this phase, the e-Vitara is priced between Rs 49,99,000 and Rs 60,49,000, while the standard retail range is set between Rs 52,99,000 and Rs 64,49,000, depending on the battery capacity and variant.

The e-Vitara comes with two battery options. The 49 kWh variant produces 106 kW and 193 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of around 440 km.

The larger 61 kWh version delivers 128 kW and is rated for over 500 km under optimal conditions. An all-wheel-drive configuration with an additional rear motor is expected to be introduced later in select markets, including India.

Underpinning the SUV is Suzuki’s HEARTECT-e dedicated EV platform, featuring a 2,700 mm wheelbase and a space-efficient design aimed at improving cabin room and urban drivability. The structure uses high-tensile steel and a dedicated battery protection system, while the flat-floor layout further enhances interior space.

Power comes from a 3-in-1 integrated electric drivetrain combining the motor, inverter, and transmission, supported by lithium-ion battery packs with Cell-to-Pack technology and thermal management designed for a wide temperature range. The compact SUV offers multiple drive modes—Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow—along with regenerative braking.

Inside, it features a dual-screen setup with a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting, a Harman audio system, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, and flexible rear seating configurations.

Safety equipment includes seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a high-tensile steel body structure (over 50%), electronic parking brake (EPB), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-wheel disc brakes, and emergency call functionality.

The Suzuki e-Vitara enters the compact electric SUV segment, competing with models such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv.ev, and Mahindra BE 6.
